Implementation Checklist

This is an integration checklist to help make sure you have everything needed before launching your incredible Pilgrim powered iOS app.

Account Setup

• Setup Foursquare Developer Account w/ ClientID + Secret
• Ensure Pilgrim Access is enabled

Installation

• Register app's Bundle ID(s) in Foursquare Developer Console
• Install Pilgrim framework in project
• Add Background Location updates capabilities to project
• Add required permission strings to Info.plist
• Ensure Pilgrim Configure called from didFinishLaunchingWithOptions of AppDelegate
• Add delegate callbacks to AppDelegate
• Request .authorizedAlways from user and start Pilgrim

Testing

• Review Testing documentation
• Utilize debug mode to monitor activity on device
• Register test devices in Pilgrim Console Events Log
• Ensure notification handlers work and events are logged
• Real world visits show up in logs

Finish Up

• Complete iOS checklist
• Check-in with your Engineering Team and Foursquare Team
