### Public Beta Feature

This documentation covers a feature currently in Public Beta. Access is available to anyone interested in building personalized experiences for their end-users.

#### Parameters

| Parameter  | Type    | Requirement | Description |

| venue_id   | string  | required    | -           |
| v          | string  | required    | The API version date as documented [here](https://docs.foursquare.com/developer/reference/versioning); e.g. 20231010 |
| value      | string  | required    | 1 = dislike, 2 = average, 3 = like |

#### Responses

- `200`
  - **object**
    - A response object detailing the rating and the associated venue.
    - **meta**
      - **object**
        - Response metadata for the rate post endpoint for a specific venue.
          - code: integer (Defaults to 0)
          - requestId: string (The unique identifier for the API request for rating a specific venue.)
    - **notifications**
      - **array of objects**
        - Array of notification objects containing information about the success of the API request.
        - **item**
          - **object**
            - Array of notification objects containing information about the number of unread items in the response for the specified venue.
            - **type**: string (Response object containing notification types for a rated venue.)
    - **response**
      - **object**
        - Properties of the response object for a successful rate post to a specific venue.
