Dataset Details

Modeled population counts at 100m resolution for 249 countries, estimating how many people reside in each H3 cell.

Global population data taken from the Individual Countries 100m resolution R2025A v1 data product. Population estimates use the constrained model which redistributes population counts to identified settlement extents using a Random Forest-based dasymetric redistribution approach. Data available for 2020-2025, with plans for annual updates as source data is made available.
